Tahoe senior portrait locations are endless in this beautiful place, but Palisades Tahoe will always have my heart. I often call it my playground and I truly mean it. This North Tahoe High grad has been on skis since she could walk, and Palisades has been her second home ever since. Photographing her senior portraits here in Lake Tahoe felt like a full circle moment. The last time I photographed her she was a newborn, which made this session all the more special.
We chose to photograph her session right at the mountain, where she has spent most of her life training and racing. The familiar terrain, soft light, and quiet energy made it the perfect setting. She moved easily through the spaces she knows so well, casual and natural.

Her big blue eyes caught the last of the golden hour light, and I just kept thinking how beautifully this session reflected her. Grounded yet glowing. Plus bonus she had teh cutest strawberry printed socks.
We wrapped up near The Chamois & Loft Bar in Lake Tahoe, a true local favorite and a place that holds memories for so many Tahoe families. It felt like the perfect way to end her Palisades Tahoe senior photos, a nod to her roots and this valley that raised her.
