I love all seasons, but fall and winter have my heart.
Their youngest had just come out of a cast after six long weeks, so we took things slow and easy.

We started high in the Tahoe mountains near Alpine Meadows, where the views are majestic, then wandered into a nearby meadow alive with golden leaves. The mountains still carried a touch of snow, a reminder that winter was just around the corner. Having been a single mom to a toddler once, I get it. I know what it takes to wrangle little ones, and I know that rigid poses and forced smiles never work. So that’s not how I shoot.
