There’s something magical about Truckee senior portraits with horse and rider, especially when the bond is as strong as this one. This session with a Truckee High School senior at Piping Rock Equestrian Center was all about connection between a girl and her beloved horse and between her passion and the art we created together.
We met at the stables, and the coverage felt more natural as the horse was brought out. While the horse was a little spooked by flashes or quick movement at first, we stayed patient and worked gently. The result was beautiful Truckee senior portraits with horse and rider, captured in a genuine, heartfelt way.
I also had the chance to document some jumping action, adding energy and excitement to the final gallery.
